The KIM was again a great success – a follow-up report

On Saturday the 03.09.2022 the DÖIM – Dachorganisation Österreichisches Interim Management (döim.org) organized for the 7th time the Conference for Interim Management (KIM) in Salzburg.

In accordance with tradition, Dr. Martin Mayr, Chairman of the DÖIM, welcomed the participants at the Management Dinner held in cooperation with the AIMP. After greetings from the boards of the partner associations DDIM (Dr.-Ing. Marei Strack), DSIM (Dr. René Bollier) and VRIM (Kurt Schädler), Siegfried Lettmann was awarded Interim Manager of the Year.

The conference started on Saturday with the awarding of the “Certified Interim Manager”. It continued with interesting (mostly double) lectures around the motto “The colorful world of interim management”. DÖIM would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr.-Ing. Strack for her stirring presentation on “Trends & Perspectives for Interim Management”.

A novelty this year was a virtual presentation by Dr. Harald Wachenfeld together with an interim manager from Vietnam (both live). The conference ended with the “entrepreneurial spirit” of keynote speaker Florian Gschwandtner. The well-known Austrian entrepreneur and investor outlined numerous topics that will determine our near future during his presentation “The Future is NOW”. He took the audience on a journey into the (digital) world of tomorrow and offered many suggestions and room for further discussion afterwards.

The approximately 140 participants were enthusiastic about the event, the lectures and the culinary offer. Make a note of the next date: 03.03. /04.03.2023 in Salzburg. Program notes will follow shortly. We are looking forward to meeting you!
